Wedding and party invitation sets
5 x 7 inches, 25 cards/envelopes with RSVP and invitation stationery, boxed.
It contains 25 Bodhi leaf cards that close with a bamboo stick, envelopes, enclosure pieces, RSVP envelopes, and full size 8 1/2 x 11 stationery sheets and card stock sheets to print your invitations and RSVP cards on. As you open the card, the Bodhi leaf, thought to bring it's owner patience and enlightenment, floats up towards you bringing the patience to you, enclosed inside is your invitation, with your RSVP card and envelope. These sets come in all natural for a very elegant look, or with a natural outer wrap over a black inner piece for a very elegant, classic look, or can be custom ordered in any color combination you chose for an additional $10 per set. At a cost of $2 each, these are 50%-75% less that even the most inexpensive (i.e.plain, boring, & unimpressive) handmade invitations on the market. PS....The leftover empty boxes, when stuffed with goodies, make excellent bridesmaids gifts!
By tradition in Nepal, they would never write on the card, it is considered to be part of the gift, they would write on the enclosed piece and continue to replace it over and over again, while the card travels on. The more worn the card becomes, the more valuable it becomes, because of all of the giving that has been associated with it on it's journey. When it is finally worn out it is framed and hung in their home as a sign of good fortune.
